How long is a chromosome?

Chromosome 1 is the longest human chromosome at 245,203,898 base pairs (bp) according to the sequence[1]. And the distance between base pairs along the sugar-phosphate backbone of DNA is about 0.33 nanometers (nm). Thus the total length

So the largest human chromosome is almost almost ten centimeters in length!

The SI unit of inductance is the henry

${\displaystyle {\mbox{H}}={\dfrac {\mbox{Wb}}{\mbox{A}}}={\dfrac {{\mbox{V}}\cdot {\mbox{s}}}{\mbox{A}}}={\dfrac {{\mbox{m}}^{2}\cdot {\mbox{kg}}}{{\mbox{s}}^{2}\cdot {\mbox{A}}^{2}}}={\dfrac {{\mbox{m}}^{2}\cdot {\mbox{kg}}}{{\mbox{C}}^{2}}}}$
${\displaystyle {\dfrac {\mbox{Wb}}{\mbox{A}}}={\dfrac {{\mbox{kg}}\cdot {\mbox{m}}^{2}}{{\mbox{C}}^{2}}}}$
