The binomial differential equation is the ordinary differential equation

${\left(y^{\prime }\right)}^m=f(x,y),$ when $m$ is a natural number (i.e., a positive integer), and $f(x,y)$ is a polynomial in two variables (i.e., a bivariate polynomial).
