Deutsch: Erzherzog Karl von Österreich (1771–1847), der Sieger der Schlacht bei Aspern 1809, im Kreise seiner Kinder, die Dargestellten von links nach rechts: Erzherzog Wilhelm (1827-1894) mit Peitsche; Erzherzog Karl Ferdinand (1818-1874); Erzherzogin Maria Theresia (1816-1867), Gemahlin König Ferdinands II. beider Sizilien; in der Mitte Erzherzog Karl von Österreich; rechts neben ihm Erzherzog Albrecht (1817-1895) in der Oberstinhaberuniform des Infanterieregiments 44.; Erzherzogin Marie (1825-1915), Gemahlin Erzherzog Rainers, ganz rechts Erzherzog Friedrich (1821-1847), mit Gewehr. Die Gemahlin Erzherzog Karls, Henriette von Nassau-Weilburg, ist lediglich im Hintergrund links als Porträtbüste zu sehen, da sie 1829 bereits verstorben war, das Gemälde Enders ist jedoch 1832 entstanden.
