| Description |
English: Splitting of density of electron states in ferromagnetic and nonmagnetic metals. 1 Three layered structure with two ferromagnetic layers (arrows indicates magnetization direction) and nonmagnetic layer. 2 Splitting of density of electron states for electrons with different spin direction (arrows indicates direction of spin). F Fermi level. Only electrons above them take part in conduction. If part of electrons states with some direction of spin above Fermi level is greater, than conductivity for them is larger. Note, that magnetization direction is antiparallel to total spin above Fermi level.
Русский: Расщепление плотности электронных состояний в ферромагнитных и немагнитных металлах. 1 Трехслойная структура из двух ферромагнитных и одного немагнитного слоя (стрелки обозначают направление намагниченности). 2 Расщепление плотности электронных состояний для электронов с различным направлением спина соответственно каждому слою в структуре (стрелки указывают направление спина). F Уровень Ферми. Электроны над ним принимают участие в проводимости и создают магнитный момент (направление магнитного момента противоположно суммарному спину). Проводимость будет большей для электронов с тем направлением спина, чья доля над уровнем Ферми больше. |
