After discussion here (see in particular the conclusions), it would appear that this plot, which is a standard presentation of data about the laws of nature, is not eligible for copyright under U.S. law because the image itself does not involve creative work. (This is not to say that an extraordinary amount of intelligence and effort didn't go into the production of the plot, but this apparently is not what's important.)
